i got job!

Yeah! I finally got a job. I will be working as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Adult Progressive Care Unit at Maricopa Medical Center. I am so excited to be working again. It has been just a little stressful to only have one part-time income for our family of 5. I look forward to working nights again, I know I'm crazy, but I like the night shift. Hopefully I will be able to make some great friends like I did at my last job.

my new jewelry

I found a cute bracelet in a magazine and some earrings that I liked online and showed them to my mom. When I asked her if she could make them she said of course, and here they are. I LOVE them, I am going to have to find some new designs so I can have a set for every outfit :) You definitely can't get the full effect from the pics but I think they are great. Thanks, mom!

Yesterday we went over to Susan and Richard's house to visit their tortoise. He just lives in their back yard and walks around eating grass. He is quite domesticated, he will eat lettuce from your hand and will come when he is called. The kids had a fun time feeding hima snack of lettuce leaves.

garrett's birthday party

We had a birthday party tonight for Garrett's 8th birthday at Peter Piper Pizza. It is like a mellower Chuck-E-Cheese. He invited one of his friends, Jacob. Grandma Olsen's friends, Richard and Susan came also.

The kids played on the games and earned tons of tickets for prizes and had tons of fun.

Gracie was playing air hockey with Daddy and she kept winning so she was jumping up and down because she was so excited.

Garrett got some new books, a bike pump, a new bionicle, and we got him a cell phone so that I can keep track of him when he is at his friend's houses.

Yes, Garrett's hair is blue. Grandma Olsen took him to get a hair cut today and the stylist put blue hair gel in his hair to celebrate his birthday.
