Grace is doing her "homework." She is tracing the letters for her name. I think it is so cute to watch her concentrating on tracing the letters. She loves doing her homework like Garrett. Hopefully she will love doing it for a long time to come!

The kids "borrowed" my camera for a few hours. Garrett took some self-portraits, he also posed for some funny ones for Grace.

playing in the "jungle"

The kids are playing in the "jungle" in the backyard. With all the rain, the weeds and plants have kind of gotten out of control. The kids love playing jungle and creeping around.

all tuckered out

Jack and Grace had been playing in the boys room for about an hour. It was too quiet so I went to check on them and this is what I found. They were both sound asleep on the bottom bunk in a sea of blankets.

happy valentines day!

We collected all the goodies that Grandma Barb, Grandma Olsen and Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Brandon sent and they opened them all at breakfast this morning. Everyone was thrilled with their Valentine's Day stash of goodies.

I made pink heart pancakes with pink sparkles, a huge hit as you can imagine.

Garrett loved the temporary tattoos from Grandma Barb, but was disappointed that they were only temporary. He said, "I want tattoos like Aaron has all over!"

i got job!

Yeah! I finally got a job. I will be working as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Adult Progressive Care Unit at Maricopa Medical Center. I am so excited to be working again. It has been just a little stressful to only have one part-time income for our family of 5. I look forward to working nights again, I know I'm crazy, but I like the night shift. Hopefully I will be able to make some great friends like I did at my last job.
