utah trip - swimming

Most of the trip was rainy and cold. But, finally on our last day there the sun came out just enough to be able to go swimming at the Scera pool. It was that last week of school in Orem and there were about 50 teenagers there and 3 small families. Once the high schoolers left we had the whole pool practically to ourselves. It was a great way to end our visit to Utah.

salt river - part 2

{salt river - part 1}

A couple of weeks ago, we went up to the Salt River for an afternoon BBQ. It was the perfect day, not too hot yet. The kids had a great time playing in the river, trying not to get washed away. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but out in the main part of the river the water is moving pretty fast!

lost

Grace lost her first tooth yesterday. She was very excited and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come. Unfortunately the tooth fairy must have had a lot of kids to visit because she didn't make it. Hopefully she'll be by tonight!

jack and charlie

Jack loves to hang out with Charlie in his cage. The two of them just chill out on the cushion.

Grace has mastered the alphabet song and she can also spell her name, just in case you can't hear it very clearly.
