party time...

...I mean, the first day of school! The kids have been so crazy and bored so we are all glad to have school start again! Everyone is wearing their shiny new clothes with their brand new backpacks and are ready to go. The crazy part is that is was 99 degrees when I took them to school this morning, at 8:30am!!

2011 first day of school

These pics are all mixed up, but you get the idea. The kids have been counting down the days until school started. No one was more excited than Jack (and me). At the school when everyone was lining up to go inside there were crying kids and crying moms, but Jack was all smiles. He has the same teacher as Grace had last year, Miss Spearow. Grace gets Mrs. Deadmond and Garrett has Mrs. Cole. Garrett had no problems with me taking pictures at home, but once we got to the school it was too embarrassing for him. Too bad, I had to take a couple of pics! It should be a great year for all three of them!

Now, I realize that these pictures are a little bit late coming, but we just got our internet service all connected at the new house.

All the kids at the bus stop. There was only one other mom there, and I was the only one taking pictures. Garrett informed me when he got home from school how embarrassing it was that I was there taking pictures. Hopefully, next year he forgets and I can keep getting the first day of school shots.
