2011 first day of school

These pics are all mixed up, but you get the idea. The kids have been counting down the days until school started. No one was more excited than Jack (and me). At the school when everyone was lining up to go inside there were crying kids and crying moms, but Jack was all smiles. He has the same teacher as Grace had last year, Miss Spearow. Grace gets Mrs. Deadmond and Garrett has Mrs. Cole. Garrett had no problems with me taking pictures at home, but once we got to the school it was too embarrassing for him. Too bad, I had to take a couple of pics! It should be a great year for all three of them!

Richard received a waterproof camera in a gift basket from one of his golf tournaments so, of course we had to try it out. We are still working on actually taking pictures under water, but it is nice to be able to take pictures in the water without worrying about the camera.

1st day of school 2010

Today is the first day of school for Garrett and Grace. They were very excited this morning to wear their new school clothes.

Garrett is going into 4th grade and Grace will be in Kindergarten!

This is Grace with her teacher, Ms. Spearrow. I think she will have a good time in her class this year.

This is the only picture Garrett would let me take at the school. He is too cool for his mom to be hanging around taking pictures :)

After we dropped off the older kids, Jack and I went to the park to play.

He is always looking for treasures to take home in his pockets!

Garrett and Jack had a fun time playing in the mud puddle in our back yard. We cleared some of the rocks to make a spot for grass. It has turned into mud hole this summer waiting for it to cool down for grass.
